Any member who has not paid by the 31st December, automatically has their membership suspended until payment is made in full.

If no payment is received by the 31st January then you are deemed to have left the club, in which case, notification of your departure will be given to the Police Authority and if you wish to re-join the Club then you will be subject to pay the Joining fee, as well as the annual fee with the status of a probationary member.

Current Membership Fees

As of 2024 our fees are set as:-
Adults (over 18)
Joining Fee £30 (one off initial payment)
Membership £200
Junior (under 18) or 18-25 and in full time education
Membership £30
No joining fee

Current Membership

Due to a recent influx of new members (which is great), we have decided to implement a new system of joining. New member applications will be processed twice a year, being once in the spring and once in the Autumn, on a first come first served basis and will be limited depending on club availability. The deadlines for each intake will be the 28th February each year for Spring, and the 31st August for the Autumn.

The club is very supportive of any scheme to encourage new people into the sport, particularly in respect of younger shooters and has held open days in the past for various organisations including the Scout movement, The University of the Third Age and Monmouth Youth Services

Membership Options

New Members
All new members to the Club will be subject to a probationary period, during which you will be expected to attend the Club and complete the necessary basic training. This applies to everyone, irrelevant as to experience. Once training has been completed and you have attended the range a sufficient number of times then you will be put forward to the Committee for approval to become a full member.
If you would like to join, please complete this Membership Application Form – Membership application form and return to the Membership Secretary, who’s email is above, along with:
– Proof of ID (such as FAC/SGC or passport)
– Proof of address (recent utility bill, or FAC/SGC if not used as evidence of ID)
– A digital passport photograph
– If you reside in Gloucestershire, a police data consent form – Gloucestershire Police Consent Form
PAPER APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
We will then process your application to join and be in touch with regards to getting you started. It is only on acceptance as a probationary member that your subs payment will be due. Please do not request updates on your application as we will be in touch at the appropriate time.
Membership Renewal
Membership fees are reviewed and set by the membership annually at the AGM, which is held in November. Fees are then due for payment by the 31st December of that year for the subsequent year.
